How Lovable to app works

Switch to Existing backend in the dashboard. Attach your Lovable site URL — and optionally OpenAPI or a GitHub repository. BuildMyAPK extracts brand tokens, plans mobile screens, and writes an Expo / React Native client that can call your existing API.

What you need to provide

Minimum: your live site URL and a prompt describing the mobile flows you want.

  • Deployed Lovable app URL
  • GitHub repository (if exported from Lovable)
  • OpenAPI spec if your Lovable app has a documented API
  • Prompt: which web flows become mobile tabs and screens

Lovable backend reality

Lovable builds web apps and sites from chat. To get mobile, paste your deployed Lovable URL in Existing backend mode and optionally import the GitHub repo Lovable exported. BuildMyAPK generates an Expo client — it does not convert Lovable's web stack in place.

Not a WebView wrapper

A wrapper APK loads your site in embedded browser chrome. BuildMyAPK generates native-style React Native screens that match your brand — which you can iterate in chat and export as real source code.

How to start

Create an account, open the dashboard, and describe the product in one sentence — or paste a website URL. Preview the live app in a phone frame, iterate in chat, then export source or run a cloud build for APK or IPA.

FAQ

Can Lovable export a mobile app directly?

Lovable targets web. BuildMyAPK is the mobile path: URL + optional repo → Expo app with APK export.

Will my Lovable backend work in the mobile app?

Yes, when you attach OpenAPI or GitHub so BuildMyAPK can wire the same API routes.
